Capturing the world in paint and pencil.

My Bio

My artistic journey began in 2020 during the first lockdown, a time that allowed space for reflection and exploration. What started as a quiet escape soon became a lasting passion.

Working across two primary mediums, my practice reflects organic forms found in the natural world.

  • My watercolour paintings are inspired by shifting light and the subtle palettes of the landscape. These works often evoke a sense of calm and atmosphere, capturing fleeting moments and quiet moods. They tend to focus on landscapes, still life, and worldly cuisines in a looseness of mark making.
  • In contrast, my graphite drawings offer a more grounded, detailed perspective. With fine detailed linework and tonal depth, I explore portraiture, animals, birds, and other organic forms, bringing focus to the textures and character within each subject.

Nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, surrounded by the rolling hills and timeless beauty of the English countryside, my work is deeply inspired by the natural world around me. While the landscape is a constant muse, my travels around the world have also shaped my visual language, bringing in textures, colours and ideas from diverse environments and cultures.

My practice continues to evolve through curiosity and connection to the world around me, one piece at a time.
